I got my boot in the mail today and I am very impressed. I live in a small town and could not get a lift by splitting the sole only another sole put on the bottom. You guys are great. Super fast too. All my work goes to you from now on.

I just got my shoes back from you today. I just want to say thanks for doing such a great job; it's really refreshing to see that there are still those whom care about craftsmanship in their work. The lifts look great! Thanks Again,

I wanted to let you know that I am very impressed and satisfied with the quality of work done on my shoes. I sent in two right shoes that required lifting. A national chain fitter located in my town said that the shoes could not be lifted. I had my shoes for about 2 years and I was thinking of giving them away. Imagine, two pairs of Italian leather shoes. Now that I've done business with you, my choice of shoes is virtually limitless. Please accept my sincerest thanks.

Hi Guys! I got my boot back today (the black Helly Hansen snow boot) and just in time for our first snow this weekend. You are wonderful, as always! Thank you so much,

I don't know what your company does differently than the labs around here in Illinois, but THANK YOU! I fight with the labs every time I buy my son a pair of shoes. They call me 2 weeks after I drop my shoes off that they can't split the sole and it was a 40 minute drive to drop the shoes off. It was really getting annoying. At my last visit is when my orthopedic doctor suggested your company and I was thrilled by the comments on your website that you could split any sole. Thanks again.

Orthopedicshoelift.com prides itself on helping people with limb and leg length discrepancy by helping them correct it. What we do is split the sole at the bottom of any shoe of men, women, and children, add the build up to the specified size, taper at the toe, then reattach the original bottom of the shoe. This creates an aesthetically appealing look while alleviating pain in the foot, leg, hip, and back caused by the limb length discrepancy.

Our methods allow people with limb length discrepancy, through our shoe lifts, to wear any shoes or boots on the market while not having to deal with uncomfortable and painful shoe inserts which many times will not leave enough room in the shoe to walk comfortably.

If one of your legs is longer than the other leg, you may have a common problem known as leg length discrepancy. A typical difference in leg length can be anywhere from 1 centimeter to more than 6 centimeters. The greater the discrepancy, the more you must compensate your normal posture and gait (walking pattern) in day to day life, which can lead to a variety of symptoms, such as functional scoliosis, hip, knee and ankle problems. read more..

Hard to split soles for shoe lift
Shoe lifts starts at $39.99 for the first ½” of shoe lift build up work. However there may be an extra charge if the sole of your shoe or boot is made of material which is hard to split. Boots and golf shoes fall under this category. As well as some dress shoes with thin soles requiring a precision cut to split the soles. In these situations please expect an extra charge of about $10.

Send only the one shoe from the pair
Please only send the shoe from the pair needing the modification when sending something to American Heelers for build up work. If you send the other shoe from the pair you may be charged a fee of $6 to cover shipping costs of that shoe.
